Department of Music activities are housed in the centrally located Amy E. du Pont Music Building, which contains classrooms and teaching studios, rehearsal and practice rooms, special laboratories for electric piano and music education, two professional classical recording studios, a music resources center and the 440-seat Loudis Recital Hall. Historic Bayard Sharp Hall, which was renovated in 2000, houses the Jefferson Music Gallery and custom-built Dobson pipe organ.

​In addition, the Department of Music utilizes the Louise and David Roselle Center for the Arts (CFA), which is adjacent to Amy E. du Pont. The CFA opened in the fall of 2006 and houses the 450-seat Thompson Theatre; the black-box Studio Theatre, which seats up to 150; the 200-seat Gore Recital Hall; and the Puglisi Orchestra Hall, which seats up to 300. In addition, there are 32 individual music practice rooms and instrument storage lockers for student use.
