Shari Feldman is the academic advisor and recruitment coordinator for the Department of Music’s undergraduate student body. Ms. Feldman graduated from the University of Delaware in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and again in 2012 with a Master in Music in Vocal Performance. Her previous work experience within Residence Life and the Office of Undergraduate Academic Services at the University of Delaware lends itself well to her current responsibilities, which include undergraduate academic advisement, course scheduling and registration, scholarship maintenance, college recruitment events and audition coordination for prospective students.
Ms. Feldman is passionate about all things musical, including, but hardly limited to, the interpretation of 20th-century performance art, chamber literature, contemporary and classical opera, ethnomusicology, traditional and avant-garde performance practice, Semitic literature and the sensorial and psychological experience of music appreciation. In addition to her administrative work, Ms. Feldman teaches voice privately and performs locally.
