Music Resources Center

The Music Resources Center (housed in Rooms 109-110 in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building) is a library facility which serves the Department of Music and the University community, as well as patrons from outside the University. It is principally a collection of sound and video recordings, including over 10,000 sound recordings in various formats, and over 275 videocassette and videodisc recordings. In addition, there are several thousand volumes of printed music and books on music. These include chamber music (scores & parts), piano music, and multiple copies of scores. It should be added that the major collection of printed music and books on music is housed in the University's Morris Library. Included in the Music Resource Center's collection of audio recordings are recordings of Department of Music recitals and concerts.

The Music Resource Center is directed by the Music Resources Supervisor, a trained music librarian, who is available to assist patrons with reference questions and guidance in research projects.
