Carol Prodan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she obtained a degree in Piano Performance, a Master's degree in Accompanying and was the recipient of the J. Spencer Love Scholarship in Fine Arts. She studied with Joseph DiPiazza and George Kiorpes. Her harpsichord studies were under the direction of Elaine Funaro of Durham, NC. She has performed with Joseph Swenson, violin, The Greensboro Symphony, The Greensboro Youth Orchestra as well as live on National Public Radio from Wilmington, NC. In the summer of 2002, she made her international debut on harpsichord playing with The Eastwinds at the International Double Reed Society Convention at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts in Alberta, Canada. Mrs. Prodan has served on the piano faculties at the University of Richmond, The North Carolina Music Academy and Piedmont Bible College. She was a Piano instructor and Accompanist at the UNCG Summer Music Camp for five years. Her memberships include the Delaware Music Teacher's Association, the Music Teacher's National Association and the College Music Society. She currently serves on the Board of the Delaware Chamber Music Festival. Mrs. Prodan teaches class piano and maintains a private studio.
