Audition Requirements

CLASSICAL GUITAR


  • All auditions must be with nylon string guitar, no plectrum.

  • Applicants must show knowledge of major and minor scales, two octaves.

  • Any etude from:
    • M. Carcassi 25 Studies, Op. 60
    • No. 1-6 Studies by Fernando Sor.
    • Etudes Simples 1-10 by Leo Brower

  • Two pieces of contrasting styles (memorized) and familiarity with classical guitar repertoire
