Music Education Major
- ETUDES - one from the following:
- Simandl Double Bass Method (Fischer Ed. pgs. 104-105)
- Simandle 30 Etudes
- SOLOS - one from the following:
- A Baroque Sonata or Concerto
- A Classical Sonata or Concerto
Applied Music Major
- ETUDES - two from the following:
- Simandl, String Bass Method, Book II
- Simandl 30 Etudes
- Storch-Hrabe 86 Studies
- SOLOS - three contrasting movements from the following:
- Bach Cello Suites (Sterling Ed.)
- Any Solo by Bottesini
- Dragonetti Concerto
- Baroque Sonatas or Concertos are also acceptable
Bachelor of Arts, Minors, Merit, and Honors
Same as for Music Education.
