The class learns traditional Calypso music from Trinidad and Tobago in addition to music from other genres (Jazz, classical etc.) The basics of improvisation are taught to beginners while more advanced students are taught to transfer musical skills across instruments. No prior musical knowledge is required.

Day/Time: Saturdays, 9:30-11:00 AM

This 10-session class is designed to bring out the “animal” in you! In this supportive and fun environment, students will explore the skills of concentration, imagination and communication. After choosing an animal that lives primarily on land, the student will begin a physical exploration. Through these first few “discovery” sessions, the actor will create a very unique animal/character. Basic improvisation techniques will then be introduced, and these animal/characters will begin to create an improvised soap opera… with new episodes every week. Come and share the excitement!
