Teaching Faculty

Junior Faculty

University of Delaware undergraduate students who have been carefully selected for their musicianship and ability to teach. Junior Faculty are assisted by their own private instructors to ensure the quality of music instruction being offered.

Instruments available with Junior instructors: Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Cello, Harp, Voice, Piano, Percussion*, Guitar*, Violin*, and Cello*.

*available during the summer semester

Professional Faculty

Trained teachers or performers with experience teaching music in a private studio setting and/or regional private and public schools and universities. All members of the Professional Faculty hold degrees or certificates in music.

Instruments available with Professional instructors: Flute*, Clarinet*, Bassoon*, Trombone, Percussion* (drums and steel pan), Voice*, Piano*, Guitar*, Violin, and Viola.

Artist Faculty

University of Delaware Department of Music Faculty. Those wishing to study at this level may be asked to audition to ensure proper placement. You will be contacted after your registration is received to discuss the details.

Instruments available with Artist instructors: organ (audition requred), drum set (audition required and subject to availability).
