2007 Band Camp


August 16 - 25, 2007 (Check below for specific arrival information based upon performance area.)


Arrival dates and Check-in Times

Thursday, August 16 Staff Camp (12 noon Check-in)
Friday, August 17 All Percussion, Colorguard and Twirlers (3-5 pm)
Saturday, August 18 1st Year (New) Brass & Woodwind Members (3-5 pm)
Sunday, August 19 Returning Brass & Woodwind Members (3-5 pm)


Where To Go When You Arrive For Band Camp:

Check-in: Christiana Commons located on Laird Campus off Route 896 North. Come here FIRST!

Band Camp Dormitory: George Read Hall


Materials for 2007 Membership

  • NEW MEMBER UDM-BANDER - will be available for download after June 10, 2007.
    You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader at least Version 6.0 to open/print this file! Need it: GET IT HERE FREE!

  • 1st year Brass/Woodwind Players: Don't forget about UDMB ORIENTATION!
    The dates are June 2 and 10 (Brass); June 3 and 9 (Woodwinds).
    If you cannot attend for any reason, please contact Professor Sarver as soon as possible to arrange an alternate solution.

  • Vet UDM-BANDER (log in on the Current Members Directory and download -- will be available after May 1st)

  • Percussionists: Information packet will be mailed in June.

  • If you did not receive a packet by Monday, June 19, please contact the UDMB OFFICE at (302) 831-4951 or email the UDMB OFFICE

  • Colorguard / Twirler: Auditions are Saturday, May 12th. Register online!


  • Downloading/Printing UDM-BANDERS
    WINDOWS: It should open in Adobe automatically. Under FILE choose "SAVE AS" and save it to your desktop. Once done, reopen it and you should be able to print.
    OR RIGHT-click on the document and choose print from the pop up menu.
    Some older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader open the file within your browser and if you use Print under the browser file menu you get blank pages.

    MAC: It should download automatically unless you have set your computer at different setting. If so, chose SAVE FILE TO and choose desktop. Open it and print it.
