The University of Delaware Community Music School offers dynamic
choral programs for singers in first through twelfth grades. Our choirs can be performance-based
extensions of the music education offered in schools or an outlet for those who
just can’t seem to sing enough. New
potential singers will be auditioned to evaluate pitch matching and both
rhythmic and melodic reading abilities.
All Choir programs are offered on a thirty-week session from
mid-September through early May and require a commitment for the entire
program. Performances will be at the
University of Delaware and in the community throughout the year. A schedule – with as much information as
possible - for the entire year will be provided at the start of rehearsals.
