Gold Choir (intermediate choir - open to grades 4-9)
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Director: Debra Arnold
Tuition: $350 for full year (30 Weeks; Sept - May); $180 for students that join in spring
All new singers must attend an audition to join the choir. Students must be registered for auditions.
This program is open to singers who have passed the basic training

choir will be a performance based extension of the music education
children receive in school. The singers will be auditioned to evaluate
pitch matching, and both rhythmic and melodic reading abilities. The
ensemble will rehearse once a week for 90 minutes beginning in early
September, and coinciding with the school calendar. There will be an
additional cost for uniforms.
This group frequently performs at the University of Delaware and in the
Newark community. Repertoire includes a variety of sacred and secular
choral music. Students are expected to commit for the full academic
If you are interested in joining the UD Children's Choir, please contact
us to find out about the audition procedure at the beginning of each
semester. Registration forms will not be accepted unless your child has
auditioned and is accepted into the choir.
