All summer camps are held in the Amy E. du Pont
Music building and the Roselle Center for the Arts located at the
corner of Amstel Ave and Orchard Road, Newark.
Beforecare and Aftercare are available for all
daytime camps. Beforecare can be registered for a rate of $20 for the
week, and aftercare will be billed at the end of camp week at a rate of
$5/hour or part of an hour.

Join us for a week of music-making and fun focused on singing in choir! This program is for singers of all experience levels who love choir and want to make music together. While rehearsal will make up the bulk of the day, campers will also receive instruction in voice and musicianship along with plenty of musical activities and games. Singers will turn into composers as they work together to create their own music that will be showcased on an informal performance on Friday afternoon.

Camp participants will have the opportunity to see, hear and play the instruments of a typical band/orchestra program as well as learn about and experience the beginning steps of each instrument. The day will be broken into manageable segments that include mini-concerts of each instrument, demonstration and coaching sessions as well as activities/crafts. The week will culminate with a brief presentation to family & friends on Friday afternoon.

Led by prominent band director, adjudicator and performer Pamela Letts, the schedule includes group rehearsals, sectionals, theory and aural skills classes, as well as workshops by UD faculty and local artists. Camp concludes with a performance on Friday evening in Loudis Recital Hall.

The SpongeBob Musical! We’re going to have great fun in Bikini Bottom!
Rehearsals will start with the evenings of 6/28, 6/30, 7/5, 7/7, 7/12, and 7/14 from 6-9 p.m. and then continue with full-day camp, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday, from 7/18 - 7/29.
Performances will be July 29 at 7 p.m., July 30 at 7 p.m., and July 31 at 2 p.m.. At this time, we fully anticipate being able to have live audiences, and all University of Delaware guidelines will be followed. We expect to charge $10 for adult tickets and $5 for children tickets, and will provide 2 complimentary tickets to all camp participants.
Please, no absences from camp during the final week as there will be technical rehearsals every day. Other absences can be accommodated but may affect casting. Please reach out to Camp Director, Laura Kerst,

All camp participants in On Stage camp will need to provide plain, conservative shorts (which fall just above the knee) in khaki (sand, tan, light beige) and athletic shoes for their personal footwear. Plain white tennis shoes or Converse are preferred, but most athletic footwear will work.
PAYMENT INFORMATION: Fee On Stage camp program is $700 including evening rehearsals and two full weeks of camp. A deposit of $200 must be made at time of registration to reserve a spot. The spot is not reserved until deposit is received. Remaining $500 must be paid July 1 – July 6. A reminder email with a payment link will be sent on July 1. Refunds will be available if the program does not run, but otherwise fees are non-refundable. No CMS discounts (UD, siblings, etc.) are available for this program; however, financial aid is available. Please email
