Engaging Musical Practices book cover

Professor of music education, director of graduate studies, and music education program director, Dr. Suzanne L. Burton has published Engaging Musical Practices: A Sourcebook for Elementary General Music, co-edited with colleague Alison Reynolds of Temple University. A compilation of best practices for elementary general music education, the book contains practical and pedagogically oriented chapters written by leaders in the field of elementary general music.

Dr. Burton has been appointed to the position of interim associate dean for the arts effective September 1, 2018.
