UD Jazz in Istria

​A one-week intensive workshop designed for advanced high school, college level and adult jazz enthusiasts who want to improve their small group playing and improvisation all while basking in the beauty of Istria, Croatia.  Faculty include University of Delaware Jazz Faculty: Todd Groves, Tom Palmer and Harvey Price. Each day will consist of small group rehearsals, improv sessions, and listening. The evenings will be dedicated to playing what you learned during the day in the many clubs and cafes around town. 

​Costs: Housing Air B&B-style accommodations plus workshop fees is $600.00. You are responsible for getting to Buje, Croatia, and all your meals. Buje is one hour from Trieste, Italy; two hours from Ljubljana, Slovenia; and 7 hours from Vienna, Austria, all by car.  There will also be time to go to the Adriatic Sea, 6 miles away, and to visit the beautiful country side that is Istria.  www.udel.edu/jazzpayment
