As the communications specialist with the Department of Music, Megan M.F. Everhart oversees the content, design and production of all print material for the department, including concert programs, event brochures and a variety of marketing collateral. She also serves as the content manager for the department website and the social media manager, developing strategies for greater visibility for all department programs and events.  

Before joining the Department of Music, Ms. Everhart was the entertainment editor at Delaware Today magazine, writing about arts and events in the First State. She maintains a freelance writing career specializing in legal issues and biographical profiles.

In 2013, Ms. Everhart began a partnership with the Checkpoint Charlie Foundation in Berlin, Germany, managing an educational program for German teachers of English. This program, Experience America, invites high school teachers to visit Delaware for a two-week program to learn about America, specifically the educational system, through school visits, lectures and cultural activities.
