With offerings for newborns through adults, UD families can enroll in on-campus music classes
BodyText1
The UD Community Music School (CMS) is a gem of a program right here in our own backyard! With over 700 children and adults enrolled last year, this developmental job program connects UD music majors and working professionals with the local community. CMS provides professional teaching experiences for the college students and a variety of music classes for community members, ranging from early childhood music exploration to a high school honor band, elementary percussion ensemble to ukulele class, musical theatre to a Capella, digital music to music theory, as well as private instrument and voice lessons.
Registration is now open. Winter private study is currently running. Spring group classes begin on March 5, 2024.
Classes take place in the Amy E duPont Music Building and the Roselle Center for the Arts. Dates, times and tuition vary. Children of UD faculty/staff and UD faculty/staff are given a 5% discount (discounts are not applied for the summer musical theatre camp.)
