Reserving Space

The facilities, equipment and services of the School of Music are available to the University community and general public in accordance with the following University and School guidelines. All requests for use of space and equipment will be subject to availability, following the priority list established by the School of Music:

• Credit bearing courses of UD and School of Music Classes
  
• School of Music Student Ensembles
  
• Required Music Student Recitals and Department of Music Faculty Solo and Ensemble Recitals
• Non-required music major/minor Recitals
  
• Non-Departmental Requests​
  

Student Use - Classrooms

Students may only schedule use of classrooms in Amy du Pont for these purposes:

• For use in an academic course/program in the School of Music

• For use by a School of Music sponsored club (Phi Mu Alpha & Sigma Alpha Iota)

Music Majors - Venues

Music majors may schedule a ​ve​nue for a public event:

• When for use by a School of Music sponsored club (Phi Mu Alpha & Sigma Alpha Iota)

• When related to an academic course/program with the School of Music (such as a Student Recital)

• When they have active faculty sponsorship for a performance. Such performances must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance and cannot be scheduled in the last three weeks of any semester.

When using a venue for a public event, a Performance Worksheet must be completed three weeks in advance and submitted to the Music Events Team.

Non-music majors who wish to rent music venues must complete the External Use request form.​

Faculty
