University Strings Chamber Orchestra is an elective class, designed for music and non-music majors students, performing string instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass) at the beginner and intermediate level. During this class we analyze, discuss, and perform repertoire of various styles. In addition we address individual and ensemble particularities of string playing performance practice.
During the Spring 2023, the class will be open on a non-credit basis to Community Music School string students, ages 18 and older. There is no registration fee for CMS students as this is being offered as an extension to their private study.
Participate ages: 18 years and older, must be a CMS or University of DE student
