Application Instructions and Timeline

1. Apply to the University of Delaware​​ (by January 15 for funding consideration). The application will require an audition or score submission based on your area. Applications must be completely submitted, including three recommendations one of which must be an academic faculty member, and fee payment received before consideration.*

2. Applicants who select in-person on their application should select a date for their audition via the Audition Request Form. Access to the Audition Request Form will be sent by email following the submission of the application. Applicants cannot be scheduled for the audition until this form has been submitted. Some days and slots fill more quickly. Applicants are encouraged to submit early as their convenience allows for the best opportunity to receive your preference.

3. Audition Confirmation Email. In-person applicants will receive email confirmation of their upcoming audition and/or interview no later than two weeks prior to the audition date. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Music Admissions as soon as possible. Interviews are held online via Zoom, unless otherwise notified.

4. Final deadline to apply is May 15.
