University of Delaware Opera Theatre OPERA:NOW will present two one-act contemporary chamber operas -- David Conte’s The Gift of the Magi and Michael Ching’s Speed Dating Tonight! -- at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12, at Loudis Recital Hall in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building on the University's Newark campus.
The performance, accompanied by the UD Chamber Orchestra led by James
Allen Anderson, features two new “Delaware Dates” scenes written
especially for UDOT.

At 2:15 p.m., a Round Table Discussion with Speed Dating Tonight! composer Michael Ching will precede the performance.
Tickets -- at $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and UD staff and alumni
and $5 for students -- will be sold at the door only; cash or check
accepted.
